I am buying a new frame. I have decent kit: Mavic EN521/hope hoops wheelset, 140mm tapered velvet dla fork, full shimano slx groupset. All I need is a new frame because my old one is damaged (though repairable) and I wont trust it even if I have it repaired. What is the best hard trail frame I can buy in Europe under 800 eur (maximum 1000)? By best I mean strongest, stiffest (of course at a reasonable weight - no more than 3kg)...tapered head tube ( or 1.5 ), 12x135 or 12x145 thru axle (preferring), bb30 bottom bracket maybe. I am 75kg, 175cm tall. I prefer slacker head anlge but its not that important. I dont mind the frame material though I suppose the best choice at this price is aluminum? Tell me some models, brands. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the remark but I think there are many people who are going to buy ht mtb frame at this price. There is nothig uncommon I want from that frame. Could you please suggest me one to look for? – alexanderg Jan 25 at 18:16
Yeah, I think this falls way too far into the shopping questions category. Sure it may help a lot of people, but the reason shopping questions aren't allowed is that they become "dated" too quickly. A valid answer this year might be totally invalid next year. – Kibbee Jan 25 at 18:22
I totally agree but within a year or two it could be helpful. I tought users could see when questions are asked or answered. Besides, if answers are not relevant to choosing a new frame answers could help some users to choose a second hand one. New and more relevant answers could be added, too? – alexanderg Jan 25 at 18:28

My main issue with shopping questions is when the question is just a list of specs without including usage characteristics (i.e. how the bike will be used). There may be many or few bike frames that fit the specs listed, but the numbers are out there and are generally easy to find. – WTHarper Jan 25 at 18:58
