How much (in grams) does a 1985 Trek 720 56cm frame and fork each weigh? (Catalog here: http://www.vintage-trek.com/images/trek/85TrekTouring.pdf )

I'm thinking of getting one and wonder how it compares in weight to another vintage Trek i have.

Thanks.

P.S. I just got the error "It does not meet our quality standards" when trying to post this question and can't figure out why. There doesn't appear to be an explanation of this error on this site. Can someone point me to an explanation?

For what it's worth, the weight on this as a complete bike will be around 22-23 pounds. – zenbike Mar 22 '12 at 3:49
@zenbike, judging by my failed searches, i reckon that this information is not easy to find on the internet. So an answer here will be helpful to others in the future as well as to me. Regarding the weight estimate you provided, thanks. Where did you find this information? – AlexR Mar 22 '12 at 3:57
I used to own the bike. Mine was 22lbs, but could have been made lighter with different components. The usefulness factor also includes things like whether anyone else will want to need the information. – zenbike Mar 22 '12 at 4:07
