bike routes around san francisco? Ride with GPS is an amazing site - since I found it it is all I use. I have a Garmin Edge 500 and it gives turn-by-turn navigation which works really well (using .tcx format). |

Techniques for patching a tube I will typically use a patched tube straight away without waiting more than 2-3 minutes. Never had any problems. And I don't remove the clear plastic FWIW. |

How do I cycle up steep rocky ground? That depends on the suspension design, some are more efficient than others. The loss of energy from 'bobbing' would definitively be less than when you lose traction. |
