What bike computer (speedometer) to get for mounting on the rear wheel? @CajunLuke, Daniel means the cadence of your pedalling (so you can measure how constant your pedalling is and check if you keep it in the most efficient numbers for your riding style). With rear-mounted sensors, this is relatively easily achieved, as you can see on the second picture here. |

How do I get started riding on rollers? I didn't really understand the explanation, so I searched a bit more. You can see it nicely in action here: youtube.com/watch?v=UtR_4B4lcsA&t=2m16s |

What's a good bike for daily use in New Orleans? A flat city with lots of potholes and bad roads @Moab, personally I'm not a fan of full suspension bike for city cycling - it takes away some of your pedalling power. Also, buying a second-hand MTB with full-suspension in this price range might turn out in disappointment. |

Is it really OK to hang a bicycle by the rear wheel from a hook? And how about the front wheel? That's the required position in many trains. |

How do I fix a dent on my frame? Maybe even some smaller car workshop would help out for a few bucks on the side. |

Bike mounted camera bag I'll add a photo when I get back to my dorm. There are some cables in the front (both brakes and both gear shifters) but shouldn't be a problem for a smaller bag. |

Bike mounted camera bag The Ultimate bags seem pretty large for my needs, however, I've found a nice manual on their site showing the smaller Ultimate5 Compact that might work, just not sure about the Velcro flap... |

Bike mounted camera bag I don't really understand how could I attach the Aqua bags on my handlebar. Even though the closure system on the Aqua Zoom model looks great! |

Bike mounted camera bag That looks pretty nice but is it waterproof in case of rain? It doesn't seem that way. |

Rack (+ Pannier) for a bike with disc brakes I gotta say, the OMM racks are pretty expensive, are they worth it? |

Rack (+ Pannier) for a bike with disc brakes As seen in the photo I've editted in my answer, the spacer would only have to be about 5mm. The Old Man Mountain rack adds a space of almost 3cm. I'd rather use a solution with the spacer instead of using the wheel axle to mount the rack. |

Rack (+ Pannier) for a bike with disc brakes I must say I'm not familiar with the english hardware nomenclature. What is exactly the difference between a washer and a spacer? |

Rack (+ Pannier) for a bike with disc brakes Do you think that the solution with spacers is so bad? At least the right side could be fastened without spacers (the slight asymetric disproportion shouldn't be a problem) and overall it wouldn't swing so much as a seatpost-mounted rack. imho. |
