What should I use to lubricate a freehub? @jimirings i consider a lubricant something that lubricates and /stays/ lubricating. if you want technicalities, water is also a lubricant. But you are welcome to do testing following the scientific method, since we can't use existing bibliography on the subject because wd-40 does not publish the ingredients on their product. my bet is that you will find that wd-40 is a lubricant that is thinned way more than the rest. that is fine if you want the 'penetrating' properties, but not so nice if you want it to remain /in/ a spinning freewheel. you will just be splashing your lubricant around. |

Is it a good idea to get a narrower front tire and a wider rear tire on a road bike? @user906658 please do report back if you do the two tire trials. i'm curious as hell now! :) |

Do I have to simply wait for google maps to add cycling directions to my area? Or can I help? upvote, but i beg you: if you are contributing your time to mapping, do it to openstreetmaps. if you give the data to google, it's locked in one product. if you give your time to open initiatives, it's available to all. INCLUDING google maps. as they use that data a lot. thank you. |

removing freewheel MF-Z012 without tools i ended up using a very thin coating of grease, almost transparent. and thick engine oil 30w50 in abundance. wipe out excess and close. I was hopping it would be all clunk and noise by some months. Still going smooth! the Slick Honey can't be found in any LBS around here, and online it's too expensive! |

Is this a good road bike frameset to consider building for a 5'6" rider? had the measurements all wrong. 56st, 55tt, 31" standover... but you guys made a good point on the disadvantages on getting parts for it and the chance of it not being usable. Will only go down this road if i can get it for almost free, which i doubt. thanks guys. |

Bike lock for a Mountain bike with easily removable wheels recommend you lock that higher. some people actually steal bikes with a brick and hammer. place brick under lock, hammer the lock, walk away on your bike. |

Why is the front brake lever on the right if you 'drive' on the left and vice-versa? had never heard of sutherland before, assumed it was one bike brand. |
