How can I adjust index shifter so it doesn't skip the second chainring? This put me on the right track. I had the shifter cable too tight, beyond the ability of the barrel adjuster to accommodate. The cable is much, much looser in low gear than I would expect. I don't have everything perfect, but all the gear combinations I'm likely to actually use are working fine. Time for a test ride! |
