Shimano Chainring Compatability Thanks zenbike. Indeed I am running 10 speed atm. Are you saying both 5700 and 6700 crankset are backwards compatible with my 5600 shifters/derailleurs, etc? (I only ask because that is not what the Shimano chart seems to suggest) |

Shimano Chainring Compatability Thank you again! I did think about just getting new 6700 cranks, but then (again the compatibility chart) I will need need shifters and front derailleur. So if I just found some FC-5700 chain rings, I should be OK? |

Chain drop under load the chain and rear derailleur were probably changed sometime 6-12 months ago. I guess changing chain rings is probably a good time to change the chain anyway? |
