comment What are some ways to keep biking when you have a car?
+1 but please, let's not harass anyone, even if legitimately defending a sane choice like using the bike.

comment How to protect myself when falling off the bicycle
+1 for “tuck your head”. Lowering the chin as a reflex is simple enough to learn quickly, but could save a life in this kind of situation.

comment Runny nose while biking
(since you mentioned your throat) It may feel disgusting, but ingesting mucus is perfectly ok - you actually swallow most of it unconsciously all the time.

comment My bike leans to the right. What should I check?
@heltonbiker I know it sounds implausible. I can't be sure, since I did some other work on the bike the same day (moved the bell, removed CPU support, removed bottle holder, installed new lock holder, etc.), but that was the only really out of axis thing I touched. I should try putting it back on to see what happens :)

It turned out there was a difference in weight. A tiiiiny magnet from an old bike computer was still on the spokes, and when I removed it (all 6 grams of it) the problem fixed itself.

No accidents until now, luckily!

Thanks for the suggestions. Some more details: no difference (no bags, I go with a backpack). I thought about road shape, but it happens on flat surfaces as well. Of course the effect is even more on curved roads.

@lawndartcatcher absolutely not! Cell phone is always with wired or bluetooth headset. The reason I tried riding without hands was only to check for the bike balance - I don't do it usually.

@Kibbee I'd like to solve the problem at its roots, since I might want to install a second pannier someday.
