So even the bolts that attach the brakes to the frame should be greased? Also, where do you find information on torque requirements for different parts of the bike when using a torque wrench?

comment Are there advantages of dedicated bike computer instead of smartphone apps?
The reason a bike computer has sharper, more accurate GPS is because they usually contain an altimeter. If the elevation is already known then the GPS system only has to determine the long and lat. So it's much quicker and ends up being more accurate.

I've finally come to the same conclusion. Bike computers like a Garmin Edge 500 also have more accurate GPS I've found because they contain a built-in altimeter. Apparently with GPS, if one of the three parameters (long, lat, elevation) is already known (in this case, the elevation is known due to the altimeter) then the GPS is able to determine the long and lat very very quickly compared to a phone that has to determine the long, lat and elevation. So faster GPS lookups = more accurate GPS.

One thing to note is that most decent trainers come with their own skewers. You are supposed to replace the skewers on your bike with these while using the trainer in order to prevent scratching to your bike skewers.
