Alternative Firmware for Garmin Edge 500 Well, writing them gave me a standard response "thanks for your feedback we always try to improve our products" and the issue aside: Being a software guy I could imagine other fun things one could do when being able to develop custom software (besides consuming power and making the battery run out ;) ) |

Alternative Firmware for Garmin Edge 500 For some devices they at least provide linux kernels. Certainly it's not enough for a full system but might be a start for enthusiasts. :-) |

Who has right of way at a staggered crossroad I have a similar crossing on one of my routes, I treat it as two independent crossings with the typical right-before-left route ... but for answering I'm too confused about the arrows on the wrong side of the road ;-) |

Tips on buying a beginner mountain bike I'm quite sure that riders like Lance Armstrong are looking for the est bike and that most manufactures are happy to have their brand shown in such an environment. Still I wouldn't take that as an argument (as long as my body, riding style, needs, ... are different) |

Are bicycle registration websites any use for recovering stolen bikes? eBay and craigslist - many stolen bikes are listed there. I know of at least one case where a stolen bike found its original owner again due to those great services ;) |
