comment My stem keeps moving side to side even thought I tighten it
Make a small mark on the steerer tube when the stem is aligned. The next time the stem moves verify the stem is moving in relation to steerer. It is possible that the steerer is moving in the fork crown.

comment What is a nipple driver and would I use one to replace a broken spoke?
The head of the tool slides over the nipple and the recessed screwdriver tip engages the nipple slot.

comment Deepening the front fork dropout
If the above comments aren't enough the likely hood of you modifying both sides identical are slim. The result would be a wheel with a positive camber or tilt that will affect handling.

comment Roof Rack vs. Trunk Rack for Sedan
Roof rack con: If you drive into the garage with the bike on the roof you'll need a new door and a new bike. I never realized how often this happens until I saw the "Bike on Board" signs for your dashboard.

comment I have a foreign bike, and don't know what pressure to pump it to
Never thought about the lower inflation test first. Really good idea, as finding a split or unseated bead at 50psi is less damaging than it occurring at 90psi.

comment Messenger bag or handlebar basket?
As others have stated this is subjective but I prefer to carry Items on the bike. My reasoning is that in the event of an accident it is less likely to cause me injury if it isn't strapped to my body

comment How can I remove the bottom bracket from this old road bike?
Spray it with some penetrating oil Liquid wrench, PB Blaster etc. Place a wooden block on the crank and hit it with a heavier hammer.
