comment Bike Polish for Carbon Frames
I'm convinced the FinishLine bike polish is really just a can of furniture polish with a FinishLine label. It smells just like generic furniture polish, sprays out of the can like furniture polish, looks like furniture polish, etc. I really prefer Motorex Bike Shine.

comment If not Kona Asphalt Commuter then what?
I like to differentiate between "hybrid" and "commuter". To me the Kona Dew series is more commuter than hybrid. I take hybrid to mean something more upright, potentially with a front suspension/seat suspension and generally a bike less performance oriented and more comfort oriented.

comment What tools do I need to disassemble and re-assemble an 80's road bicycle
An 80's bike will likely have more metric nuts than metric hex. You'll probably want an 8/9/10 mm wrench set. There are also specialized tools for the headset and bottom bracket. I have a listing of bicycle specific tools here: 802bikeguy.com/bicycle-tools

comment Does a hybrid truely have a wider tire or does a mountain have a wider tire?
I really wish all these fuzzy measurements like 26" or 700c would just go away and we could all start using real measurements like the ISO diameter. The ISO diameter is a REAL measurement from bead seat to bead seat in millimeters. Modern 26" wheels are ISO 559mm. 700c (and 29er, yes, it's the same size as 700c) are ISO 622mm. This is the only real measurement of a tire. Almost all tires have this on the sidewall in a XX-YYY or YYY-XX format where YYY is the ISO diameter. If you want to read more about ISO read this: sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html#decimal

comment Any thoughts on spoke lights?
They are front/rear lighting. I don't know of any non battery side lights. I have some Monkeylectric M210 lights on order. monkeylectric.com/m210.htm
