How much distance can I put on drivetrain components? Do 9 & 10 speed chains really wear faster? I can see how they might be designed for weight and performance over longevity, but do you think it is just the narrowness? |

non-steel frames and longevity I was secretly hoping the thief would have a frame with longevity problems! I was also trying to decide whether to replace the bike with a used al frame, a new al frame, or a steel frame. |
