Cannot raise V-brake blocks high enough to align with wheel rim Also ensure the axle is correctly fitted into the frame/fork. |

Does a helmet-mounted light affect the safe functionality of the helmet? I would say it depends on the type of mount. If the load is spread across the outside of the helmet and the light takes a hit it's less likely. However mine has a mount that goes through the holes in the helmet and clamps both sides. I suspect this, with a levering type of hit will more easily break the helmet. However helmets are designed to be strong, and should still perform their duty of protecting your head. Just make sure the light or light mount cannot get at your head in the event of a break/crash. |

What cleaner and oil should I use on my bike chain boiling is excessive, though occaisional soaking in chain cleaner loosens the bits of dirt from inside the chain parts better than some brushes from a chain washing device will. |

Converting a MTB to a Road Bike @user973810 note the key word "rim". Of course brakes are needed. |

Why is it safer to bike with traffic, instead of facing oncoming cars? If your walking however, this is advised on rural roads with no pavement (sidewalk). Perhaps the speed of the bike is a big factor. |

What's best engine to motorize a road bike model aircraft engines do not run on petrol(I believe known as gasoline in USA) or diesel. they run on special fuel, which I believe will be more expensive. Also, if in the UK anything with an engine requires a road licence if driven/ridden on the road. |

Tubus Rack Compatibility on a 29er With Discs I'm not sure about your racks, but I bought a special rear 29er rack. Which gives more clearance. It was by continental I believe. |

Bicycle lights- Indicating in the dark I guess the problem of 1 handed would be more pronounced abroad (from the UK) as signalling across traffic requires use of rear brake arm? - leaving you with just a front brake. Unless of course the brakes are backwards too. |

Bicycle lights- Indicating in the dark I would use a reflector around my cuff, the type used on your ankles. I have no problems riding 1 handed. |
