What sort of bottom bracket does a Trek 1.5 2011 take? Before replacing it, try taking it apart, cleaning it thoroughly, greasing it back up and see if it works. Faster, cheaper and leaves you with that warm buzzy feeling of saving money. |

How do I separate brake pads after accidentally pulling the front brake while the wheel is off? The amount of sand and general dirt I subject my brakes to suggests a dirty screwdriver won't make much of a difference. |

Advice on aero wheels I ended up having a lot of head wind in Styrkeprøven, and good wheels certainly didn't hurt going over the mountains with 10-12 m/s head/side wind :) |

How can I make myself and bike more visible during the day? +1 on point 4. It can't be stressed enough. Motorists expect other motorists to be clear on what they are doing in traffic, and if cyclists do the same you will automatically avoid confusion and a lot of dangerous situations. When approaching an intersection, clearly mark which lane you intend to ride, ride in the middle of the lane and give a hand signal. |

How to build a wheel Thanks. Weel structured and generally a useful answer. I ordered the book, so I'll read it before ordering parts. As bike components and tools are very expensive where I live, I'll probably won't go for Dura Ace and Park Tool, but it's a good reference. |
