What tools on a multi-tool do I actually need? How could it get loose? It is designed to tighten itself as you pedal. |

What tools on a multi-tool do I actually need? And after you have unscrewed your BB in the middle of nowhere, where do you get a replacement from? |

What tools on a multi-tool do I actually need? +1 What is this madness with BB tools and chain whips? Somebody will probably soon advice to carry a bike stand on longer trips! |

how to pump up schrader valve bike? Very strange. The protective cap has nothing to do with air retention. It is to protect the valve from mud. Do both tires behave in this way? Are you sure it is a Schrader? |

Suspension fork - Can you leave them locked for a long time? I have been told that when adjusting the preload on the fork, I should never go full out (no preload). So I keep it 1/4 rotation from there. If I set it full out and drive a day, it becomes stuck and needs a hard push to unlock. It is a cheap fork. Not sure if I am helping :( |

How can I tell what brand/make of bike I have? Check out the bottom of the frame, near the bottom bracket. Should be a serial number there. |

Are there electronic/active theft deterrents for bicycles? I used the above alarm for some time. It is not waterproof, unfortunately. |

What is the correct way to put a helmet on? IMO my question should be closed as a duplicate, as ** amcnabb** points out, because the answers at the linked question are completely relevant to this one (and are better ;)) |

What is the correct way to put a helmet on? @hollsk, where you live, is it mandatory to wear a helmet? If so, possibly that guy is frustrated by this law and showing it. |

What to do with old tires? I don't know about tires, but tubes make good fire starter when camping in wet conditions. Just cut them in 1cm wide rings. |
