comment Is graphite grease suitable for bicycle bearings?
DanielRHicks, actually the Wikipedia article on dry lubricants lists ball bearings among graphite grease applications. But can that be trusted? What area of application of ball bearings? Is graphite grease inadequate in some respect (lubrication, water isolation, etc.). The question stands.

comment Is this article accurate? If so, why is the hype about loosing the FD on enduro bikes?
Hey @Blam. The article is being criticised in a local forum, where I found the link to it as well. Secondly, what alarm are you talking about. My wast paragraph says that enduro bikes (e.g. 160mm front and rear) are fascionable, together with 1x drivetrains, which seems contradictory.

comment What type of grease to use as general purpose bearing lubricant?
I find my question question better, as in more focused on a single problem, than the linked duplicate!

comment Mud buildup at the chinstay near FD
@Batman, that's nice, but wouldn`t work. The mud builds up in the way of the chain and derails it to the outside!

I was thinking in these lines. Some questions: 1. wouldn't the plastic of the jug just bend in the way of the sticky mud? 2. Do you have any link to a picture of something similar, along with the seps to construct it and the pitfalls to avoud?
