comment Is it harmful for a hydraulic brakes bike to be put upside down
Note that the leaking lever has another disadvantage: it is unwieldy for me.

comment Is it harmful for a hydraulic brakes bike to be put upside down
I found my problem. The reservoir cap on the lever leaks oil, when the bike has been upside down for a minute or more. Good news is, I bought two sets of dirt-cheep brakes and the other model is not exhibiting this behavior. Bad guy: BL-M505L, Good guy: BL-M486.

> Your frame is designed for an 80mm travel fork and I'm afraid at that size there are no options to go any bigger without voiding the frame warranty. Specialized

comment Minimum mountain bike trekking/touring equipment
More concretely, what would be the minimalistic sleeping gear? Sleeping mats are bulky. And then what happens if it rains...

comment Why doesn't Shimano use shadow technology on road derailleurs?
@Emyr, Isn't changing things around (e.g. tire sizes) a leading strategy to stimulate purchases?

comment Why and how much is riding big-chainring-frong small-cog-rear a negative practice?
So it is bad. Now I have to find where to ask one of those question so popular in the Workplace.SE: "My boss/colleague/friend/relative is wrong and I am right; how to convince them, for everyone's good?".

comment Should I not use a trail because of poor conditions?
How do they do the same amount of damage? When climbing in mud, my tires often loose grip and spin out, while I try to stay upright. On descents, sliding and drifting occur all the time, throwing mud outside the path.

I disagree. This is like saying that motor vehicles do not damage dirt roads, when they are muddy (and we all know the 30cm ditches produced thus). My stance on this is: riding in mud is OK only on (already raked mindlessly by off-road motorists) fireroads.
