Least worn tyre: front or back? A simpler explanation is that worn tires are more likely to puncture, the back wears faster than the front so most of the time the back is more worn than the front and so is more likely to puncture. I'm sure there are other contributing factors but this seems to be the most likely cause. |

Lowest Gear Out of Whack Are you sure you tightened the cable to fix the previous problem? I.e., turning the adjuster anti-clockwise. It sounds like the cable is even looser now which would explain the redundant click at the top end (smallest sprocket). |
