At what time of year can I buy a bicycle for the best price? I'd add that if you DON'T want the newest stuff, it's the best time as well. These guys want to get rid of the older models so they can have new stuff all over the place. It should be pretty easy to bargain some excellent deals at this time of the year. |

How to make studded tires Interesting idea, but zip ties break pretty quickly when stressed in cold temperatures. I've used some to quick-fix snow shoes and they barely lasted 10 minutes. |

Is there a All-In-One Bike that I can use for several types of riding? While you certainly can ride a cyclocross bike off road, you're pretty much limited to fireroad-ish type of trails. There are pretty good all-in-one roadies and all-in-one mountain bikes, but an all-in-one covering both is perhaps asking too much. |
