Do glueless tube patches work as well as glue ones? I've used glueless patches on my road bike (racing type bike) and my mtb (that I also use for occasional downhill at the local parks) and never had any issues. What kind of problems did you have? |

What are the reasons for and against wearing a bicycle helmet? I've seen cyclists hit each other. The fall can be pretty hard. Also, a "slow" fall on a curb or any similar object can have nasty results. |

Why don't cyclists wear all-encompassing motorcycle-style helmets? Take a look at this Google Image search for an idea of what bike full face helmets look it. Difference with moto helmet is that they're lighter (impacts come at much slower speeds) and more vented. |

What are the features that I should seek in cycling glasses? I use orange polychromatic lenses (orange being the base color, they get darker when exposed to UV). It's really fun especially if you live in a place with quick-changing weather. |

What are the features that I should seek in cycling glasses? @Jader: They cover more of your face, they fit in a full-face helmet nicely and they stay in place. I don't know how much you know of downhill mountain biking, you might want to check out the wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downhill_mountain_biking |
