comment Nice Work Shoes That Won't Get Messed up in Toe-Clips
I suggest having a separate pair of shoes for commuting. Comfortable commuting shoes != comfortable work shoes, for multiple reasons.

comment Where can I find Shimano jockey wheels?
I can't see why generic 11T jockey wheels wouldn't work. Don't forget to loctite the threads when rebuilding the cage.

comment Why does my gear slip when going uphill / standing?
The part about replacing the cables & housings, derailer, chain, shifter and cassette should precede the part about frame failure, otherwise it can give an impression of jumping to conclusions before exhausting the usual culprits, for those who don't read comments.

comment Why does my gear slip when going uphill / standing?
While a frame issue cannot be ruled out, it is a lot rarer, and more expensive to fix, than worn cassette, derailer needing adjustment, worn shifter cable, or worn chain. TL;DR frame issue should only be determined after eliminating derailer, shifter, cassette, chain, or cranks, as the source of issue.

comment How to get a replacement crankset gear for Dahon P8?
1) Chainrings usually cost a dollar a tooth. 2) You need to find the Bolt Circle Diameter of the spider - five hole 52T isn't enough parameters for finding replacement parts.

comment Repairing Carbon / Aluminum frame
Seconded. There's a good chance that some fancy proprietary epoxy is used. Good luck acquiring that at a hardware store. There's also the fact that the gluing itself may require special tools, techniques, and conditions. Seconding staying far away from a DIY solution.

comment What's the difference between All-Mountain, Cross Country, Freeride, Downhill bikes?
Downhill and later have mass units in "kbs". I'm assuming you meant "kgs".

comment Hydraulic disk brake stops working when hot; back to normal after cooling - is this expected?
+1 for bleeding, though I've had a case where steam came off the front caliper due to piston, bore, banjo bolt, and bleeder seals needing replacement

comment How to deal with lock that keeps jamming?
My experiences with using TriFlow to both de-gunk and re-oil the cylinder in a Kryptonite U-lock has been very positive. It'll take quite a few drops, but it works a lot better than WD-40.
