Ummm... I'm not sure if averaging 45+kph is realistic. TDF winners rarely average over 40kph. They might get above that for a stage, but they can't hold it over days and weeks. Even the Hour Record is just under 52km in an hour, and that's a hardened pro in the prime of his career giving it everything he has for an hour under ideal conditions.
