Which parameters should I track with bicycle computer so I can analyze changes in my riding? I've often wanted an air speed sensor as well as the road speed. I'm not sure how feasible it is though. |

Why are bicycles considered vehicles and not “walking aid”? @Unsliced that was one of the examples used. If you are walking then you are a pedestrian. If you are scooting with one foot on the pedel then you are riding. |

Why are bicycles considered vehicles and not “walking aid”? I was reading in the CTC Cycle magazine that there is case law that covers when you are riding a bicycle and when you are a pedestrian. In summary if you have at least one foot on a pedal you are riding. |

Is a 7 speed chainring compatible with an 8, 9 or 10 speed cassette and chain? Thanks. It was more would a 10 speed cassette and chain work with existing chainrings or do I need to change the whole lot together. I still use a downtube shifter set on friction so that will be alright to start with and the derailleur was changed recently for a 10 speed one chosen on availability rather than specifications. |
