Chain skipping on some gears Thank you for the explanation! I found out that I'm only getting "skipping" in two sprockets (4 and 5 in a 7-speed cassette), and when I took a closer look I found out that these were completely worn-out, to the point that the teeth are almost triangular (i.e. no curvature on the sides or flat top)! |

Chain skipping on some gears That's probably it - I took a closer look at the cassette and the teeth remind me of shark fins. And that would explain the absence of skipping with the old chain? |
