Sixty-two years old. I have a 1989 Miyata 1000 LT touring bike that I love to ride. Mostly a recreational rider to stay fit. Aim to ride around 1,500 miles each season. Mostly a fair weather rider so I can enjoy the solitude of a bike ride in the country. I'm a Type Two Diabetic, so I must be careful about longer distance riding these days. Longer rides are about 50 miles now, with the average ride being 25 plus miles around a lake. Hope I can continue to ride forever!
