How do I tighten up my headset? Eventually as you tighten the locknut, the friction between the locknut and the adjustable race will cause the adjustable race to tighten down against the upper head race. You want to avoid this. The goal is to tighten the locknut and the adjustable race against each other. To do so, you'll need to hold both pieces. |

How to repair shifter housing #2: two part epoxy GLUE. Works similar to your putty, but it's liquid and will fill in the crack better w/out a big mess. My fav is bit.ly/15BMkQg Any time you use glue RTFM cause you only get one shot |

How to repair shifter housing Be careful. You probably don't want to use a putty. It will be "glopy" and bulky and won't hold very well. You have two options that will make a cleaner bond. 1. try some acrylic joiner. you put the pieces back together and then "drip" the acrylic joiner around the crack and it wicks into place. This might not work (depending on the type of plastic of the cover.) However, if it doesn't work you can just wipe it away and move on to #2. |

How can I tell what frame model/year this bicycle is? can you clarify: is the picture of the bike you are talking about or a picture of what you have guessed the bike to be? |

What Shimano jockey wheels are compatible with my old Shimano 105 9-Speed Derailleur? Shimano is good about putting model numbers on their stuff. What exact model number is your rear derailleur? It'll probably be a RD-5xxx. |
