To learn fixed gear, better start with high gear and then get lower, or the opposite? This approach worked well for me. My hybrid is significantly heavier than my fixie with gears/rack/fenders but still I but found that the top gear I found comfortable for commuting gave me a pretty spot on ratio to ride fixed. |
