@BSOrider What do you consider a prejudice there, I am willing to change the answer?

comment What is the deal with the new weird Gazelle chain case design?
@RoboKaren: Because the chain stretches (by wearing out) over time. Using the tensioner keeps it tight, with no need to move the back wheel backwards or lose one link from time to time.

comment Why are brake lights not common?
@CareyGregory: Does the lighting add significant costs to cars? A new front wheel with hub dynamo of decent quality is around 40e (dynamoless wheel is ~20e), and set of lights (front+rear) starts from around 10e. So, the difference in the cost is about $35. Judge for yourself is it significant enough or not.

What's the recommended (or usual) position for this kind of bars?

comment What could be the reason for stem this far away
@Kibbee: I'm pretty sure that these are factory installed stems, so something that should be planned for an average rider.

comment Vintage Peugeot tends towards the left when riding
Np, also, check that wheels are reasonably true and centered within forks (having the same distance from both fork arms).

comment Why do consumer battery powered LED lights fail mid ride
Take it in your primary hand and hit another surface (try the soft ones first, as the palm of the other hand), preferably in the direction the batteries are oriented. Repeat with different strength. I found out that it's really easy to turn off cheap tail lights this way. Then experiment with spacers etc...

comment Poor braking after rim change
I know that kind of calipers, this is not the case, anyway, as Chris said, force in rotational direction would be the same as with steel rims (which brake fine), so no problem there.
