Is it possible to replace a 1 1/8 steering tube with a 1"? Distributors here carry almost only complete bikes, but thanks for the suggestion. I first thougth the steerer could be stick welded, but I guess my best option is to try and find some old Mag 21. I hadn't thought of the difference in geometry. Years ago, there were none. |
