I wish to get fit, therefore should I have a heavy bike? There's some evidence that you can't exercise to lose weight. There's even some that you can't make yourself lose weight and keep it off. Focus instead on enjoying your life. |

What type of bicycle rack should I buy for my car? Have you decided if you want a roof- or trunk-mounted rack? Or is that part of your question? |

What type of bicycle rack should I buy for my car? Are you asking for a specific product recommendation (usually not a good fit for Stack Exchange)? |

How can I avoid getting chain grease on my trouser leg The veclro straps don't slip down for me, but they do open up and fall off. I haven't tried gaiters. |

For a slightly warped wheel, is it worth getting it repaired? " tighten the spokes on the opposite side where the brake pad rubs" is bad advice, and I don't want to see anyone copy it. There's no room here for a tutorial on truing, but the basic problem is that you're adding tension as you go; you need to release tension to keep the wheel balanced, and you need to avoid twisting spokes as you go. |

For a slightly warped wheel, is it worth getting it repaired? This would harm wheel tension and round. |

Can you shift both the front and back gears simultanously? Note that I shift the front to a larger & the rear to a smaller (or vice versa). I am not creating slack at both ends at the same time. I am not cross-training. |

Can you shift both the front and back gears simultanously? You use the word "often" but I have never had this problem. I realize I'm only one person, not enough data to be conclusive. |
