What kind of tires should I buy for an e-bike, commuting on maintained off-road? is right - your tire might be fine. Examine the rubber for cracks and wear. The bike shop can look at it, too. Online is cheaper than the local bike shop, but a good relationship with a local expert is worth more money. |

How do I make my brakes stop squealing? These are side-pull caliper brakes. The correct title for this question is something like "How do I make my brakes stop squealing?" |

What should I do to get an older bike into good condition Your chain is not rusted, which suggests that the rest of the bike is in OK shape. But it does look dry, so get some lube on there. |

Is there a All-In-One Bike that I can use for several types of riding? Probably the best form of this question is "what bike is the best all-around compromise?" but that's still highly subjective and unlikely to lead to a useful answer. Let's take it up on Meta (meta.bicycles.stackexchange.com/q/226/605) |

Alternatives to trailers for transporting young children Can we pass a law that cars may not be operated within 100 yards of children under the age of 6? Which law would have a greater impact on public health? |

What should my first adult bike have? Welcome @tobylane. Please tell us about how you plan to use your bike. Will you ride it to work every day, or use it for errands, or long rides on the weekends, or carry it by car to a special riding course? Will you ride in any weather, or just when it's nice out? Will you ride in busy traffic or dedicated bike lanes? Are you already physically fit? |
