I'm fund-raising for the Tour for Kids, a four day ride in southern Ontario coming up in August. One hundred percent of every donation goes directly to the kids, improving the quality of life for kids living with cancer; Nothing is shaved off for administration/other ride costs. Recommendation for panniers to carry a laptop for daily commute That's available in the UK Also worth mentioning that I attach/remove the bag from my bike at least twice a day. The mounting brackets/hooks are holding up fantastically. |

Recommendation for panniers to carry a laptop for daily commute That's available in the UK This is still with me and in fantastic shape, despite a 24km round-trip over some very bumpy terrain 3 or 4 days a week on average. I carry my (work-issued) Macbook Pro which is a very heavy laptop and both it an the bag are holding up perfectly. |

Do brake cables become more elastic with time? Replaced my brake pads, rear-wheel stopping power feels amazing again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. |

Do brake cables become more elastic with time? Just finishing work, will be closely inspecting the break pads when I arrive at home and update my question if that is indeed the answer. |

Do brake cables become more elastic with time? Is that something that would help with the overall spongy feeling of the brake lever? |

Do clipless pedals that can have toeclips exist? As an aside, I have these pedals on my commuter. They are unbelievably heavy. It's like they're made of gold or something. There seems to be more mass there than you would think would be possible for something so small. |

Is it legal for me to ride a bicycle on the pavement (sidewalk)? As a pretty important side note, "pavement" in this case refers to the sidewalk, not a paved road. |

Is it legal for me to ride a bicycle on the pavement (sidewalk)? "Pavement" in this case means the sidewalk, not the road. You should update your answer, as it's currently incorrect. It is generally unacceptable most places in the 'States (and here in Toronto, Canada) to ride on the sidewalk. |
