Cycling has rules. The most important are rules 1-6, but especially rule 5. Rule 24 is a given, along with rule 58. Rule 67 is simple courtesy. Rule 85 is just a fact of life. I don't follow Rule 34: there is always one exception. Rule 49 is not known by many.

55 years cycling. Typically riding 150-200 km (90-120 mi) and climbing 1500-2000 m per week. Need more rule 5.

Regular ride: Scapin Dyesys S8 with Campag Record groupset, Neutron wheels and generic SPD pedals.
Retro ride: Zullo steel frame with Campag Record groupset and generic SPD pedals.
Rambling ride: generic steel frame, with mudguards, paniers, Shimano groupset / STI levers, and of course, generic SPD pedals.
