Is there a All-In-One Bike that I can use for several types of riding? @domsterr I would say that a racing bike is limited to fireroad-ish type trails, but a is cyclocross bike is pretty much just as versatile as a 29"MTB with no shocks. I would say that the is shocks are a much greater limitation when going off road than wheels, given strong enough wheels and a some care. |

Is there a All-In-One Bike that I can use for several types of riding? exactly - if there were an all in one bike, there would be no excuse to maintain such a diverse collection of machines. |

How do I get my brakes to stop squealing why do you say oil is the major cause? almost all breaks that squeal can be fixed by toeing in except in the less common cases when sanding is required (this may be partly related to oily crud) or the brake/rim combo is bad. |

What are the advantages and disadvantages of turbo trainers and rollers? almost any model can be connected to one by looping the 'drive belt' rubber band around theunused side of a roller. Kreitler killer headwind is one classic alternative that is not available for a trainer. |

How deep does snow have to be before it becomes unrideable? @sixtyfootersdude (+1) I gave some justification based on experience but I don't know the mechanical / physical rationale; maybe this could be a separate question, perhaps on the physics site |

Looking for orange tyres if you just want stripes on the side, either ride through some fresh asphalt or hold a black marker to the tire while riding. |

Is pollution a problem in urban cycling? I wish I didn't have to do this but -1 for giving a misleading answer: among the conclusions from the Zuurbier et al study that you posted concluded: "we calculated that the inhaled air pollution doses were highest for cyclists." |
