I'm a software developer at Steema Software (www.steema.com). In my free time I like to: do MTB and road cycling, ride my motorbike, play guitar, watch F.C. Barcelona (soccer) games and listen to music (my fav. band being Dream Theater).

Why don't cyclists wear all-encompassing motorcycle-style helmets? @cbamber85 I did. My DH experience is very limited but I used a DH helmet. I wouldn't even consider using one for XC or road cycling though. Even they are breathable and light enough for DH, in my opinion, they aren't enough for those disciplines. |

crankbrothers 1 vs 1 SE @DanielRHicks this is an option but I'd find it very strange they'd bother using two different components for same spec pedals in the low side of their product range. Lighting and bow angle is different in both pictures. According to the specifications I've found on the internet the only difference is in the spring color. Moreover, polished vs. unpolished bows would probably make a difference when clipping them. That's a basic functionality of that product and wouldn't expect any difference. |

crankbrothers 1 vs 1 SE @DanielRHicks price could also be lower to sell stock of older SE units, it may be a 2011, 2010 or older model. Most brands are selling their 2012 models now. |

Child seat (or rack) at the seat post Thanks. Your reply makes sense to me. Yes I ment a trailer when I said "bike trolley", I don't dislike them either and I've read good reviews about them. If I had to get a new bike it might be an excuse for upgrading my MTB. That would be the most expensive solution though! |

Do both SH51 and SH56 cleats work with all SPD-compatible pedals? Being used to SH51 I (wrongly) got a pair of SH56 and changed them back to SH51. They released unexpectedly doing MTB, road cycling and spinning/hot cycling leaving me in quite dangerous situations. I'd only recommend SH56 for light pedalling and someone not being used to SH51. |

warm up without bike Did a test on the circuit today with very little leg stretching before starting and result was pretty decent. Not very good feelings as I had a too heavy meal for lunch though. |
