Child seat (or rack) at the seat post That doesn't look like the woman in that pic could reach the handle bars. Have you tried using one of those? |

What is the easiest and quickest way to pump up a tyre? I just leave my Cycleaire attached to the bike in its bag (which also holds some tire irons and a patch kit), it's been handy a few times when I'm out and about. I find it much better than any other portable pump I've used. I tend to use a track pump for regular use (which stays in the house) |

What is the recommended type of tire for riding on wet pavement? Good idea. For those that want to follow that question, it's at skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/6572 |

Which puncture-resistant tires? I've been using Specialized Armadillos for a couple of years now, after a run of getting a couple of punctures a month. My commute to work passes several construction sites by the river, and there's often small shards of metal on the road. So it may depend on what causes your flats, I plan on getting Armadillos again when I need to replace these ones. They're cheaper than Marathon Plus, and have been good enough for me so far. |

Whatever happened to solid bike tubes? You could try getting puncture resistant tyres, e.g. bicycles.stackexchange.com/questions/27 |
