Oct 28, 2016 at 20:03 | comment | added | Daniel R Hicks | Yeah, I've used a pump to ward off dogs, but have also experienced the problem that, on newer bikes without a pump peg, you generally have to use a strap, and hence the (ominous looking but harmless) pump cannot be quickly waved at the dog the get him to keep his distance. | |
