Nov 10, 2019 at 10:52 comment added David Richerby @Criggie I disagree. This answer's use of phrases such as "refuse to wear cycling specific clothes" instead of "choose not to" or "don't feel the need for" indicates dogmatic ranting, not reasoned contribution.
Nov 10, 2019 at 10:50 comment added David Richerby -1 Riding while holding an umbrella is downright dangerous. RIding without a helmet in a jurisdiction that mandates them just reinforces the opinion that cyclists are a bunch of scoff-laws who don't deserve the respect of other road users. That hurts all of us. (An I say that as somebody who chooses to wear a helmet but believes that mandatory helmet laws are wrong.)
Nov 9, 2019 at 21:25 comment added Criggie Interesting about the helmet, given Australia and NZ have mandatory helmet laws for cyclists. Your input on some of the helmet/safety questions like bicycles.stackexchange.com/questions/42936 could be of value. Welcome to the site!
