RIding without a helmet in a jurisdiction that mandates them just reinforces the opinion that cyclists are a bunch of scoff-laws who don't deserve the respect of other road users. That hurts all of us. (An I say that as somebody who chooses to wear a helmet but believes that mandatory helmet laws are wrong.) | |
