So by law, it's often very legal to ride on the car lane. And "not worrying" in traffic is delusional, perhaps unless you sit in a massive "city tank", i.e. SUV.
Jul 9, 2020 at 5:50 comment added Erlkoenig If you ride to the right of the bicycle lane, you risk running into suddenly opened car doors from drivers/passengers who don't pay attention. It's less dangerous to ride on the car lane, as drivers coming from behind will definitely see you.
