The entire purpose of the UCI's regulations is to prevent engineering competitions of the type "but the averages for fully faired bikes are so much higher than diamond framed bikes" would result in. Just like FINA banning super-slick body suits in competitive swimming. "You can't afford the $800 swim suit? Too bad, you lose!" Is that what you want for cycling? | |
