Nice ride - Looks like a pretty straightforward fixup - refit chain and tension, install new brake pads, secure cable outers to frame, and fit some new grips. Looks like some kind of internally geared hub on the back given the brighter white cable... not sure about that one. But there is no need to know what brand/make/model/year it is to get it rideable again. – Criggie Jun 16 '18 at 9:50

My guess would be 5 speed derailleur, based on the dinner plate sized spoke protector. Could be any one of the large brand or rebadge brands from the late 60's to mid 70's. – mikes Jun 16 '18 at 10:47

Note on the side: Don't ride as it is on the picture. That arm at the left of the rear hub must be attached to the lower left stay by a missing band-clamp. It is either the reaction arm for a drum brake or an internal hub brake. – Carel Jun 17 '18 at 8:14

Not sure re drum brake ; theres a rear rim brake so why would you have both on something like this – Batman Jun 17 '18 at 13:37

@Batman: In some places 2 independent brakes are required by law. This bike appears to have no front brake. In that case it isn't unusual to have two brakes on the rear wheel. – Carel Jun 17 '18 at 16:21
