What is the difference between these two rear derailleurs?

On the pictures it seems, that the "rotation angle" is different.

On the item descriptions, all details are absolutelythe same.

If the specs are identical, then they are functionally the same. There is no 'rotation angle' spec - the body of the derailleur rotates around the 'B pivot' and these two just happen to have been at slightly different positions when they were photographed.

The product names suggest the FT55 is slightly better than the FT35, but I don't think there is really any difference in quality between components in Shimano's Tourney range.

  • My bad(!!!), I didn't notice, that it's 35 and 55 – Michael D Nov 25 '19 at 13:15
  • Relative, to the hanger it seems to have a different angle. – Michael D Nov 25 '19 at 14:53
  • @MichaelD there’s a pivot there, the angle can be adjusted – Argenti Apparatus Nov 25 '19 at 15:07
  • One imagines in that market range just like consumer electronics they make identical or infinitesimally different units so that different retailers with 'price match' guarantees can stock infinitesimally different model numbers and never have to actually honor it ;) – Affe Nov 25 '19 at 17:14
