Currently I’m using 38C to 32C tyre, however i saw this marking on the rim not sure if i can go lower enter image description here


There are many different rim/tyre size compatibility charts throughout the web. Most of them say you can go as low as 28 mm tyre with 19 mm inner width rim.

    Those recommendations are conservative. You could fit a 23mm tire on a 19mm internal width rim if you wanted to. The official recommended tire widths for Hed Jet rims used to be 23mm front, 25 rear. Those are 19mm internal width rims.

  • @WeiwenNg I agree. Heck, all the new ZIPPs and stuff are like 25mm internal width for a 28mm tire.
