Can I put a b-link on a standard mount rear derailleur to fit my direct mount frame?
The best would be to buy a standard derailleur hanger to replace the direct-mount one. They are available from a variety of places, including Wheels Manufacturing, BETD, Pilo, etc.

Derailleur HANGER to replace an old Sunrace with its own hanger
Sunrace SP550
works with all standard derailleurs. Very cheap to buy.
Other brands possibly (or possibly not) available.
