Hi, I'm a retired War Veteran have been mucking about with Bicycles since maybe 4, 5 years old. I learnt to ride on my first attempt I used a heap of bushes to stop me at the bottom of the hill. Ah funny times.

I no longer work and suffer from many aliments, Over the years I've tried various Hobbies to quieten the mind but just would move onto one hobby then another then another and so on. Lately I was faced in a position where I really had a dig deep gut wrenching experience to find where I can be happy. I remembered the days of when myself and my 4 brothers used to strip bikes down fix puncture's etc. We were all very young and it was a very happy time for me. Hence I have returned recently back to Bicycle restoring.

Whilst serving within the Military I competed very aggressively into triathlons this is also a happy place for me or road cycling.

I don't pose to be an expert I have no skill in making frames or rims, just another keen DIY on here but willing to throw in my 5 cents worth to assist you where I can, and by the way I have learnt very much from you Guy's so thanks.
