Use a vernier caliper to measure the diameter of your stem and the head tube. If they aren't compatible, you may break the thread on the stem and still not be able to hold the fork in proper place.
@Daniel/@Gary- I brought it in to the lbs, the lock nuts were loose. I hadn't ridden after I observed the wobble. There was very light scarring on the cone, looked like a line. LBS said it was safe to use after applying grease and tightening it up. Thanks for saving my hub.
Clip-less pedals are not cheap, most retail around $50 or more. It won't be an easy choice for bike companies to put a particular style of clip-less pedals.
